Awful experience from start to, well now, as it's still not finished....plse plse plse beware of the bronze Jag XE R Sport they are selling Reg OE65NHG. I purchased the car in May and from day 2, I had trouble. There is also NO pictured af the very bad scratch of the back drivers side bodywork or the state of the alloys. AND There is only one key. Thats just the minor issues. The car looks beautiful but the reason it is for sale again is that after 3 months and 4k miles of owning it, one tyre was down to the chords, it required brake pads and most of all, 2 independent mechanics said there was severe damage to the engine, as did the AA, who recovered the vehicle back to the dealer. However, according to Reeds Motors there is ansolutely nothing wromg with it. They then submitted a claim on my warranty, after they had agreed to give me £3,300 less than I had paid for it 3 months earlier amd have now put it up for just £300 less than I paid. I have proof of anybody would like to msge so plse be aware, this engine could go at anytime, and the chain has also not been replaced, whichnis starting to get a rattle, especialt at cold, which would be around £2.5 to £3k to replace. Also, i had a relative compression test done which again, i have the results where the minimum cyclinder compression reading was outside the 10% allowance, for which you should contact the dealer fpr immediate support. I told them this, offered a copy of the report but all i was told was there was absolutely nothing wrong, and sent a video of another jag doing exactly the same. The reason it was doing the same is beacause all the ingenium engines are rotten to the core. Also just check when the engine is idling in park as there is one hell of a vibration on the exhaust. Just to finish it off, when it was in there possession , after being recovered to them, I received a £100 parking fine for illegal parking at a pub. Disgusting and appalling service from day 2. I urge everybody to avoid this vehicle or at least get a full AA Inspection before purchase. I was the 5th owner of this vehicle so check the V5 or get a full report as they should now be the 6th. I have a funny feeling that may not be reported. Check it has also been serviced and get a 12 month mot as its due in Dec. Ah, just remembered one other thing, there is a nasty knocking from the front when going over rough roads. I beg you to avoid the car and the dealer. Awful attitude. When I told them of the problem, I said my mum was seriously ill in hospital and I needed a car to which there response was "well my mum got hit by a bus last week but I'm not blaming you for that"!!! I also asked for my private plates to be returned and all my requests have been ignore. Join jaguar groups on social media first and do your homework on the ingenium engines as i didnt and.dont want anykne else to go through what I have. Make your own minds up but don't say I didn't warn you.
