Roy Humphrey Car and Commercial

Purchased Volvo FH4 truck from Roy Humphreys Prestige Cars. On inspection by Volvo at safety check the vehicle was found to have been fitted with out of specifications front steering tyres (below the load rating) for that axle. On fitment of the correct new tyres, at our expense, one of the supplied tyres purchased with the lorry were found to have been damaged with a tyre lever were the tyre seated onto the wheel rim. This damage was hidden by the wheel rim. When asked for an explanation of why Roy Humphreys had supplied a 44 ton Hgv fitted with incorrect and damaged steering tyres for use on the road no explanation was forthcoming. I would advise anyone considering doing business with this dealership to consider their options very carefully.
