I Purchased a car from this company in November 2025 and overall it was in very decent clean looking condition and low mileage so it made sense to make the purchase. A few weeks later just before Christmas i heard a 'clunking' noise underneath of which was noticable everytime I drove over uneven ground and one of the mechanics had taken it out for a test and found nothing. Ken then asked me to bring it back after Christmas of which I agreed. A week before Christmas I then 'attempted' to use my local ASDA petrol station to re-fuel and I was refused until payment was made first... I was shocked by this when the cashier told me the vehicle was BLACKLISTED because of drive-off's without paying... I explained that I only just purchased the car and I have never drove off without paying, I was informed to then contact the seller to rectify this. I then tried ESSO petrol stations and the same happened again. I then contacted Ken at Wood End Garage and provided him with the details and photos of the vehicle as blacklisted. I found out the previous owners address and contacted him but to no avail. On the 23rd December 2025, I then parked at my local Tesco as they use ANPR and when I went to input the registration number in the payment machine it stated that the vehicle had been parked for over 22 hours without payment and I was told by customer services to contact the company who owns the car parks of Tesco because of outstanding parking fines of which so far had clocked up just over 22 hours. I sent Ken a photo of this as proof and explained the situation. Just after Christmas I then parked up at a local business park (Crown Wharf) to visit Aldi and it is another ANPR operated car park. I inputted my number plate and the vehicle shown was a completely different vehicle. There was only about 6 vehicles on the car park that night and I checked every vehicle and none of them matched up. I contacted Ken again with the evidence explaining that I REJECT the vehicle because of these constant problems with the number plate. Ken then stated he would rectify this issue once and for all....unfortunately this is not the case as he claimed he had spent money attemptiing to sort this problem and the problem still persists as blacklisted. A couple of weeks ago he asked me to pop down to make a decision to either SELL the car BACK to him and he would offer me just £3'800 - I PAID £4.700 so WHY should I have a LOSS of £900 for an issue that is NOT my fault? he then stated that a Nissan Micra would be arriving on the Monday to then SWAP MY vehicle for the MICRA... On the Monday I contacted Ken asking for photos of the Micra and I had a reply on a different number and the message LOOKED like Ken was at the vets. (The message was very poorly written) I then eventually managed to contact Ken and we agreed a viewing of the Micra on the Thursday - Unfortunately he avoided the situation AGAIN because that day he was apparantely at a car auction in London! Ken has NO intentions of sorting this YET he will 'smooth' talk his customers and give constant hand shakes as a cunning reassurance to customers to 'sweet-talk' them into believeing his lies! Ken could 'sweet-talk' the birds out of the trees into believing his lies and when found out he buries his head in the sand to avoid rectifying the problem. WHY should I LOSE out because of a car he purchased from an auction of which in reality you don't know what you are buying! I personally would AVOID this company because Ken is the most FAKE nicest salesman you will ever meet providing the customer is happy and he will TELL the customer what they WANT to hear to reassure them so naturally they will feel comfortable BUT in reality this couldn't be further from the truth... ALL Ken is interested in is his bank balance and this problem could have been rectified WEEKS ago! Having CHECKED the price on my car with car comparison sites my £4.700 car is ACTUALLY only worth LESS than £2000! YET Ken has the audacity to RIP me OFF even FURTHER by wanting to BUY my car for £900 LESS than what I was RIPPED off for because of a problem of which wasn't mine in the first place so he can then sell it for the SAME price of which he sold it ME FOR and make another £900 on TOP! - unbelievable! My advice - AVOID and go to a reputable car dealer rather than buying auction cars with a chequered history because obviously Ken doesn't know what he is buying and NEITHER does the customer and if you have a problem then you are stuck with it! I am now going to have to go to small claims court to let them decide on the outcome. I simply want a FULL refund - it's not difficult is it?
