7. Toyota Aygo - from £9,495
Starting price of the Aygo is £9495 - great start. Below the £10k Budget though you could get the Aygo 3dr x spec which comes with Aux, USB, daytime LED running lights, electric front windows, and a tyre pressure warning system. That’s unbelievable spec for a brand new Toyota under ten grand. The only compromises are the ride-quality, which isn’t as fun as the previous Aygo, and the rear seats, which feel a bit smaller. But it's quirky looks still make it a great car.

The Citigo is the cheapest variation of the VAG format which is also shared with the Up! and Mii.
