Aston Martin is back in the big time and we here at Regit had to catch a breath when the covers were removed from what has to be the most striking car in this year’s Formula 1 championship.

The stunning new car, titled the AMR21, marks the beginning of a new chapter in the 108-year history of the iconic British brand, which had been dipping its toes in F1 in previous years via sponsorship of Red Bull.

But now, Aston goes it alone in F1 for the first time in more than 60 years. Described by Aston Martin Executive Chairman Lawrence Stroll as an ‘important event in automotive history’, the new contender will be the first works Formula 1 car to carry the famous wings since Maurice Trintignant crossed the finish line at Silverstone in 1960. Can you guess what model he was driving back then? Let us know in the comments…

Four-time world champion, Sebastian Vettel, and Lawrence’s son, Lance Stroll, will be behind the wheel of the Aston Martin when the season begins at the Bahrain Grand Prix on 28th March 2021.
