Would you pay for your car on a subscription basis?

Is This the Future of Car Ownership?

We seem to subscribe to everything nowadays. Each month we’re all used to seeing payments exit our accounts for Amazon Prime, Netflix and even some newspapers. It’s a payment type that makes sense. You know how much it will be each month and you know exactly what you get for it. It makes sense. So why not pay for your car and all your motoring outgoings in one monthly subscription too?

That’s exactly what Drover was set up for. Drover is an all-inclusive subscription service which operates as a digital car retailer, bundling all your car payments into one recurring flat fee.

Drover members sign up and get a car for a flexible duration of time, anywhere between 1 month and 2 years. With the monthly payment that car will be taxed, serviced, insured and covered for breakdowns too. Better still, there is no large deposit required upfront, unlike what you’d expect with buying a car on PCP or leasing a vehicle.

Drover wants to redefine what they and thousands of their customers believe to be an out of date car ownership model.

How does it work?

Drover has broken the entire process down into 4 simple steps. Firstly, you must create a free account on their website which literally only takes a couple of minutes. You can then browse through hundreds of cars to find one that suits you.

Secondly, you must then pick the car that ticks the right boxes for you and your family. You can choose your preferred duration, delivery method, mileage and insurance - so it all operates around what you want.

Thirdly, Drover will verify your identity and inspect your driving history before completing a soft credit check (which doesn’t affect your credit score).

Lastly, you’ll be asked to pay your one-time joining fee as well as the first monthly payment and that’s it! You can sit back and wait for the car to be delivered to your home or your workplace in a COVID secure manner within a matter of days. It’s a process which completely eliminates stress and pressure that often comes with buying a new car.

Here’s a quick 30-second video to explain how simple the car-buying model really is with Drover…

If you’re thinking of changing your car in the near future and you’re willing to explore different, more flexible ways of paying for it - why not make a free account with Drover and see how much you could save? There’s thousands of cars to choose from and you never know, you might found the perfect vehicle available on a simple pricing plan that suits your budget…
