The TV personality seems intent on causing a cyclist v driver war, but is he in the right or wrong?

Jeremy Vine has become as well known for his Twitter antics as he has for his broadcasting career in recent years.

The now Channel 5 debate show host  shares clips on his Twitter page of cyclists behaving badly to raise awareness of how not to drive on London’s roads.

But has he got this one right?

In his latest clip, a VW Scirocco can be seen passing Vine’s cycle lane to his right and when he gets about 30 yards in front of him, indicates and then turns left, across Vine’s lane.

The former BBC Radio 2 host, equipped with a 360 degree camera, then seems determined to cause an accident by cycling right up and around the VW, telling the driver he needs to take a ‘refresher driving course’ after waving his arms around.

No doubt Vine then rushed to his laptop to upload the footage and attempt to ridicule said driver via a Twitter pile-on.

'He did say "sorry I didn't see you,"' Mr Vine tweeted. 'An apology is always accepted. But this dent needs a refresher driving course.'

What do you think - was it the driver or Vine in the wrong? Or both?
