At an eyewatering $1.75m now is your chance to buy a fairly dark piece of music history, if you have the spare change, of course

The car that Tupac was killed in goes up for sale

When Biggie and Tupac seemingly ruled the rap scene the world was a very different place. I’m sure many reading this article wouldn’t mind going back to simpler times and it could be argued the 90s was the last of the glory days of British music, at least for now.

As the rap scene was becoming increasingly violent and tensions spilled over between former friends Biggie and Tupac, the latter was shot and killed in this 1996 BMW 750IL.

Well, 25 years on and the famous Black Beemer is up for grabs for a mere $1.75m by Celebrity Cars Las Vegas for $1.75 million.

The car which was originally registered and is now being sold. The car, according to the seller, retains a small indentation where they believe one of the bullet holes may have been. The ’90s era 7-series sports a 5.4-liter 12-cylinder engine and five-speed automatic transmission with 121,043 miles showing on the odometer. As most of the car’s value comes from its place in hip-hop history, records proving ownership and history will be provided.

The car is currently being displayed at the Las Vegas Celebrity Cars Auto Showroom not far from the location of the 1996 incident.
