I bought this car purely because I value reliability and running costs above all else. And it has not dissapointed me at all. I have owned the car for 5 years. And I don't want to jinx it, but aside from wear and tear elements like brake pads and disks, it has not needed anything other than regularly scheduled maintainence. Economy is as expected for a hybrid of its age. Don't believe the hype of 60+ mpg. But I average 55 and it's great. Very spacious and comfy cabin. lots of nice touches and storage space for the kids stuff. Performance will never be a thing. It doesnt like being rushed. And the traction control has an alarming habit of cutting power if you do try to get out of junctions troo quickly. But it doers the job just fine.

My first Hybrid. Highly recommended. Comfortable. Totally reliable. Great MPG. No plug in anxieties. Spacious. Good looking vehicle. Built in SatNav Fabulous Stereo system hard drive.

Way better driving experience than previous model. Very punchy and responsive in sports mode and even in eco mode it can pull away smartly at junctions if you need it to. Sat nav is rather disappointing. Poor features and difficult to use. The version two models ago was much better. The automatic full beam headlamps are pointless in the UK, perhaps they make sense on long open roads across the US. However the automatic headlamp on/off is great. Cruise control is sensible set at 5mph intervals. Over the last 3 years of mixed driving I have achieved 65.4mpg (calculated by me rather than using car stats which I think are a little optimistic. Could do with a little more leg room in the rear but it is OK if your under 6ft. One gripe is that it is impossible to take off the dust caps when checking tyre pressures without first removing the wheel trim...for something that should be done at least once a week I think that is a design miss. Otherwise, regular maintenance checks are easy to perform.

This is a great car. Although average mpg is well below the claimed 80+mpg I have had over 106mpg on a 6mile run! I would definite buy another.
