Fiat has officially opened UK orders for the new Grande Panda, a small crossover that’s already turning heads. Prices start at £18,035 for the mild-hybrid and £21,035 for the all-electric model, making it one of the cheapest new cars you can buy right now.
The Grande Panda has already scooped up Best Small Car at the 2025 Autocar Awards, and it’s undercutting some big-name rivals. The hybrid is cheaper than the Renault Clio (£18,995), while the EV comes in below the Hyundai Inster (£23,505).
Here’s what you get under the bonnet:
- Mild-hybrid: 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine paired with a small electric motor, producing 109bhp. That means 0–62mph in 10 seconds.
- EV: A 111bhp front-mounted motor and 44kWh battery for up to 199 miles of range, with 0–62mph in 11 seconds. Fast charging (up to 100kW) is supported too.
The electric version doesn’t yet qualify for the UK government’s new Electric Car Grant, but Fiat has reintroduced its own £1,500 ‘e-grant’ to sweeten the deal.
Deliveries kick off in November, and you’ll be able to see the car in person at selected dealers on a nationwide tour between 4 September and 11 October.
Fiat says interest has been huge already, with thousands of people signing up to learn more before launch.
