This is our local go-to garage, but we’ve repeatedly discovered how they rip you off by charging for their incompetence. Last year, my car had an issue with the turbo pressure sensor, which they claimed to fix. However, a year later, the same problem resurfaced. They charged us for diagnostics and replaced a part (£500.00), but the issue persisted. When I took it back, they checked again, charged me £60, and said they couldn’t find any problem. Frustrated, I took the car to Toyota, who performed a diagnostic for free and identified the issue. They ordered the same parts that APJ had supposedly replaced and informed me that the part APJ used was of very low quality and incompatible with my car—despite charging me £500 for it. I will never go back to them again.
