Thank you for your feedback, Most Electrical parts now have a Return Sur charge applied to them (remanufacture processes) a new starter motor was required. You decided not to pay for the Sur charge required and as we was trying to keep your bill to the lowest total amount possible as per your request, therefore returning the old unit was required. This item was an exchange unit and therefore a Sur charge was applied you declined to pay this charge on collection £5 pounds. We carried out the repairs within 48hours and also sourced the part you required . You accepted the estimate before any work was undertaken, and knew the labour required to gain access to replace the part that was required. We also spared a technician to come down to your home address and help bump start the vehicle to save yourself a cost of a recovery vehicle.

"Terrible experience. I took my vehicle in for a repair, and when the job was completed, I was asked to pay £5 for a part that already belonged to me (the starter motor). When I insisted on getting it back, I was told it wasn’t possible and that I would have to pay. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. In the end, I decided not to pay and left the part behind, but the whole situation left a bad taste. Not only did they refuse to return my property, but they also tried to profit from something that wasn’t theirs. I strongly advise against this place and will never return."
