Started by trying to find a who was willing to change my ABS pump on my old mini cooper (2007). After calling several garages who was only willing to give me some ridiculous estimates which were so high I seriously considered part exchanging my car. Fortunately, I found general autos from Google search and spoke to Raj. He actually gave me a good quote, which was much cheaper than 4 other garages had given. Raj gave me a day and time to come down and speak to his son Vijay (family business). On my arrival a few days later, I met both Raj & Vijay, both very friendly and seemed very confident about the work that I needed to be done. I gave the replacement pump to Vijay, and he advised me that it would be ready for collection in one 1.5 hrs. On my return, to my delight, the ABS pump had been changed, the brake system bled and the car had been road tested. I was so pleased these guys really no what they're doing and such great service. I drove away with a smile on my face and no more ABS warning light. If you need your car fixed at a very competitive price and high standard, give these guys a try - they are brilliant!!

Through economic downturns, rising operational costs, and changing market conditions, this business has shown remarkable resilience. Its longevity is a testament to hard work, sacrifice, and a deep commitment to serving the community. Such resilience deserves recognition and protection—not displacement. Evicting a business of this calibre would be more than a commercial decision; it would be a profound loss to Southwark’s social and economic fabric. Local businesses like this are vital to economic diversification, employment, skills retention, and community cohesion. Once lost, their experience, trust, and contribution cannot simply be replaced. We therefore call on Southwark Council to do the right thing: to stand with businesses that have stood with the community for decades; to support, not uproot, enterprises that meaningfully contribute to the Borough’s economy; and to act with fairness, compassion, and foresight. Protecting this business is not an act of favour—it is an act of justice and responsibility. Southwark is stronger because of businesses like this. Let us not allow a proud legacy of service, resilience, and community contribution to be
