DO NOT** use this garage, booked a honda shadow in for an mot, a service (oil, oil filter the basics) a front tyre fitting, and some electrical work which cost £750, picked up the bike only got down the road to a round about and the oil blew all over the back tyre which caused the back end to wobble and skid nearly throwing me off. I took the bike back and got the guy to fix it which he did. Took it back out for a test ride and the cdi blew, asked the garage what actual wiring/ electrical work was done and to look over what they did to make sure he hadn’t done something to cause a surge. (Not wanting a new cdi to blow again) They refused saying ‘this stuff happens when you own an old bike, you should buy a new one’ anyway.. I replaced the cdi but obviously worried about it now since the electrical work. (As it was absolutely fine beforehand.) the bike is still leaking oil which it never did before the garage got hold of it. They now want to charge £50 for a replacement oil filter and new oil again saying ‘it’s the manufacturers fault because they are not good filters’ I hadn’t even done 5miles from the garage before having to have 2 oil filters replaced and a blow cdi. I also found out they passed the bikes mot when it shouldn’t have due to the back tyre. Apparently they was too busy to be bothered to fix it. Use at your own risk but I have well and truly learnt my lesson.
