This started when I was notified about a Recall for something to do with the battery.
It was booked in for the 11th November then they phoned and said the part wasn't in. This happened another 3 times. They then called on Wednesday the 28th January and said we're we still OK for Friday 31st which we had no idea about. But said OK no problem. They asked if we would need a courtesy car we said we'll yes.
They called on Tuesday 4th Feb to say it was ready but we couldn't pick it up until the balance of £12 was paid. We were not told about the charge and when they checked the call they realised that and told us it would be waived.
We picked the car up and there is a front camera error fault coming up on dashboard as you'll see from the video attached which was not coming up when we took it in. But when we called to let them know firstly they didn't call us back when they said and called on Saturday 8th Feb. They told us according to the live report from the car the fault was already there which it was not. Me and my partner would have flagged it to them but it's FALSE th e fault only appeared after we got the car back from getting battery done.
They also sent an email with the report on other things wrong with the car which was a tyre and asked if we wanted this done whilst it was there. Now if there had been a front camera fault was something that had already been there surely they would have said about that at the time too.
I'm sure they would have flagged that
I'm utterly raged at their actions and want something done about this. We have now been left with a car that has a fault it didn't have before.
Ford Linwood need to be reprimanded for these actions on Ford Customers.
