Beck Evans

I've had a good recent experience with Beck Evans. About 2 months ago I purchased a 2005 BMW 325i estate. After driving it for a week or so, it became clear that the car was burning far too much oil, and subsequent tests confirmed this and suggested some sort of engine wear problem. So I contacted Beck Evans and asked for my money back: after running their own tests, they took the car back and gave me a full refund. They were consistently courteous throughout the process.

I bought a Nissan Qashqai from Beck Evans and have been very happy with the purchase. I saw the car on the internet and came over from France after talking to Reno on the phone. Everything was as he said and they arranged the tax and cleaned and got the car ready for me to pick up the next day and drive back to France. Everything went like clockwork and I would like to thank Reno and Beck Evans. I would recommend them to anybody.

Straightforward to deal with. I dealt with a guy called Andrew, bought a convertible, unfortunately wind deflector was missing. He promised to find it, or buy me a new one from BMW. Would post it to me. New one has just arrived. Did as he said. Not all dealers would after you have left and driven 80miles away.

Bought a £20k van from Beck Evans last year. We were concerned about the handbrake and condensation in from headlamp but were convinced by the owner of Beck Evans it was fine and it even passed the MOT Beck Evans arranged. Subsequently we found outthere was NO WAY the handbrake should pass the MOT as it cannot hold the van on a slight incline. Headlamp was full of water and completely out of alignment and could not have been checked with the amount of condensation in the headlamp. Also found the exhaust brackets had failed and should not have passed the MOT. Another fault was the aircon had a hole in one of the hoses. All has had to be fixed at my own cost. Would not trust this dealer again or recommend based on our experience.
