Carter and Haines

Great service from Paul, called after seeing an Audi online and after a few questions arranged to view it. Met Paul, drove the car and had him take a look at mine. A deal was agreed and i collected this weekend. All in all an easy transaction and i would definitely recommend.

Fantastic service from Paul, I collected a BMW 3 Series from carter and Haines 2 weeks ago, the car has been running great and is immaculate. Service was professional and friendly from start to finish, happy with the price of received for my old car and paid for the new one. Certainly recommend.

julia is correct there aggressive behaviour is horrible there not regulated for finance and or warranty extentions any damage on the car shuld have been sorted out but they are nasty little creatures they prey on people trying to survive they are not allowed to handle client funds so i dont see how there still operating

Even 1 star is far too generous for Haines & Carter. We recently "treated" ourselves to our dream sports car having put aside for many years. Adrian was accommodating at first, but when challenged over a few negative points that we raised, his attitude changed abruptly. Having thrashed out a heavy negotiating session, we finally agreed to take the car with a tear in it's canvass roof. The "clever sales rep" wrote across the receipt some carefully crafted wording that (with hindsight) gave us no room for comeback. What he failed to show us was the extent of mechanical damage to the roof's closing mechanism. A mear £7,500 to rectify we have since established. Adrian chose not to respond to our emails. Therefore after sales was completely shunned. There are lots of finer details to this story, but the upshot is that we would not recommend this garage to anyone. We were totally shafted.
