Citygate Kia Watford

I had a very disappointing experience with Citygate Kia Watford that has seriously affected my perception of the Kia brand. I was invited by the dealership to visit for a vehicle viewing and test drive. Based on that, I made the effort to travel there with my family, expecting a professional and welcoming experience. While I was able to view the vehicle and discuss pricing, I found the price quoted to be higher than similar listings elsewhere and decided not to proceed at that figure. Despite this, I still wanted to continue with the test drive, which was the original purpose of my visit. Shockingly, I was refused the opportunity to test drive the car. It was strongly implied that because I wasn’t committing to buying from them immediately, they would not allow it. To make matters worse, I felt dismissed and criticised in front of my family, which was both embarrassing and unprofessional. A test drive is a basic and essential part of the car-buying process—especially for a vehicle like the Kia EV3 GT. Denying this based on purchase intent is unreasonable and raises serious concerns about customer service standards at this dealership. I am still interested in purchasing the vehicle, but this experience has left me questioning whether this is the level of service Kia considers acceptable within its dealer network. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this branch. Very disappointing.
