CUMBERNAULD CAR SALES PLEASE DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY AND NEVER LEAVE A DEPOSIT ...YOU WILL NEVER SEE IT AGAIN.... This company epitomises the historical "Dodgy car dealer" I put down a £300 deposit on a car that they advised was a "super example of the model" only when I went to pick up some serious issues were immediately evident!!! I travelled down to purchase the car on the agreed day even though the weather was so bad and the met office was recommending "only essential" travel. We phoned ahead to request that the car was undercover somewhere so we could view it (it was pouring with rain). The salesman on the phone was rude and dismissive. He advised they didn't have anywhere on site that was undercover but there was a possibility to use a local petrol station, right next door to the garage! He advised that everything was in perfect working order and implied we would not need to check it over!! On arrival the salesman was very curt and unwelcoming. He advised we could "very quickly" view the car at a neighbouring tyre garage. On inspection our first impressions were not positive and the car appeared not to have been prepared. Once in the tyre garage my friend (who has had Audi cars and is more knowledgeable that the dismissive sales rep) immediately tried the convertible roof which would not open fully and he was adamant that the motor was faulty. He checked the front tyres that we had been assured had been replaced. The tyres were flat and the passenger side front tyre had a tare and bulge on the side wall. Friend asked the Tyre fitter if this was legal and he said it was a " death trap".?? How did it pass it's MOT?!?!? When we raised this with the car salesman, he dismissed that anything was wrong!!! When he eventually checked out our concerns, he found the roof did not open on its own and he had to push it to open with his hand. He also acknowledged and alleged the car tyre issue. However, he was very derogatory to me stating "what do you expect for this age of car" My friend challenged him and pushed him as to whether he would sell a car to a customer that was faulty!! He eventually agreed he wouldn't sell or accept a car in this condition!!!!! I told the Salesman I will not be taking this car and would like my deposit back. I was told to phone the office on Monday to get that sorted. My friend and I called the owner the following Monday and highlighted that the car was faulty and did not match the description or assurances given. He also advises that I was not wanting the car and wanted a full refund. The owner shouted and was aggressive towards my friend and myself, they have made sure it was not defective and they were away too when I came to look at the car! The owner continued with his aggression. The owner also advised the roof had "been fixed" but would not elaborate on what was done and dismissed the fact about tyres!! Been told I won't get my deposit back. Emails and documents sent to this company have been ignored, hung up on my phone calls and don’t want to discuss this matter at all! STILL REFUSED MY DEPOSIT BACK !!!! AVOID THESE, COWBOY’S!!

Fantastic service from the team at mollinsburn branch .We went to buy a first car for our daughter and found a lovely corsa .Came with full years mot and literally looked as good as new .After a week airbag light popped up on the dash but its got sorted within a couple of hours by the workshop in cumbernauld .They have a dedicated WhatsApp repair helpline which is handy.

Do not believe this rubbish online .I bought many cars from them and never had any serious issues ,any small things expected on 10 year old cars were dealt with to high standard and quickly .People forget they’re buying second hand cars and like any other second hand product they will not be perfect and possibly suffer a breakdown but dealer should then help out .And lastly its not true you can return the car for a refund within first 30 days just because you don’t like it ,it needs to have serious faults and these be present at time of purchase .If you have had the car on the road for a month or more then its common sense its been used like you bought trainers and used them for a month then ask for refund coz they are uncomfortable

Do not believe this rubbish online ,its a very busy garage selling plentynof cars and some folk just don’t understand these are not new .They will not be perfect but are good value .I bought my 4th car here since 2017 when they opened and cant fault any of them .

Cumbernauld Car Sales is complete fraud. Avoid buying vehicles from this dealer. I bought a Vauxhall Mokka from them on August 31 2023 which appeared ok at the time i picked the car. But the car developed serious engine problems before i drove it home. Cumbernauld car sales have been tossing me back and forth since them. They are con artist. I will be taking legal actions to get my money back no matter how long it takes. -Segun Nuga

Brought a car from this dealership recently, i viewed the car and was able to have a good look at the car, the salesman was working on his own on the day i visited so between customers he came to check we was ok. I put a deposit on the car before leaving and told him i would be back the following week to collect it. When i went back the car was ready for me, again the same salesman was working alone so he had to stop halfway through the paperwork to go and see to customers, maybe he could do with an extra pair of hands on tuesdays?! On the whole it was a positive experience and i am very happy with my new car
