If your thinking of buying a car from here please don't !!!! On buying there was an indicator issue with the vehicle i wanted so they agreed to change it and call me back once a new one was in stock, within a few days i had other issues with the car which again they agreed to sort once they called me back in for the indicator. after numerous calls asking for an update on the part i eventually 31 days later and one day after your right to return period !! (Coincidence i don't think so ) they called me back in for the repairs but other than the indicator none of the other repairs were sorted, oh they said they was but within 24hrs the issues returned, random oil light no air-con or stop start amongst others. Its now 3 months later the vehicle has been in there garage for over 6 weeks of this and its still not fixed. And now after picking it up from them and driving home and back to them after the oil light came on when i pulled into my drive, there offer is nearly 2K less than i paid for it. The owner didn't even have the courage or courtesy to handle my complaint himself instead he sat in an office and sent post it notes in with his minions. There liars and cheats in my opinion and should be called Driven to Despair.

Don`t go near this dealership with your hard earned cash. The vehicle I purchased wasn`t checked and serviced correctly and was sent out to me with just a superficial clean with no regard to mechanical checks. I had to wait weeks and weeks for delivery, despite early promises of having the vehicle within the week but I should have known better; emails not being answered and no return phone calls. Upon receiving the vehicle it broke down the following day due to an electrical faul then within a week I had two major oil leaks which they refused to even look at and once again their communication over the matter was appauling. In the end I had to finance the repairs myself as they claimed the problems were "natural wear and tear" but they were clearly due to a lack of basic mechanical checks. Stay well clear and avoid heartache.

Sadly can't recommend, initial dealings with Matt were great. Sadly arranging delivery of the vehicle took a lot longer than anticipated, paid for the car on the Monday, nothing done to arrange delivery until the Wednesday by which point the delivery company confirmed they deliver to South Wales on Mondays and Tuesdays so it would have to wait until the following week, there were then some discussions about potentially collecting the car but as part ex wasn't viable went back to delivery, car then finally delivered on the Thursday the following week. Unfortunately the car developed 3 faults in 4 days, I fixed one by replacing the battery, the other 2 required proper attention. The car was returned to them as is my legal right. They really wanted for me to accept it back once repaired but on inspection of the documents provided with the car it became apparent a similar issue had been fixed in 2021 so there may be a bigger issue. I had completely lost faith in the car and it came with a 6 month warranty so if the fault returned in 12 months I would be on my own. Anyway, Matt was ok to deal with on this. When I had to deal with Ryan to find out when the refund would be sent I came off the phone in tears. I needed to purchase a new car, they new that yet still delayed it to 2 weeks from when I told them I was rejecting the car (Monday). They argued they could wait up to 2 weeks from when the car was back with them but they arranged the collection and it took from the Wednesday when it was collected until the Friday for it to arrive with them apparently. If that were the case they could just delay collection and leave you without a working car or money for months. In any event, I had explained that I had a small child who needed to be transported between child care but that didn't matter to him. He felt it appropriate to in his words 'go off on a tangent' about how ridiculous it was that I was trying to source another car before they had transferred the money. He was clearly very irritated with me . He did tell me they did me a favour refunding it by 6pm on the Monday 2 weeks after I rejected the car and they didn't have to. Doing me a favour would have been refunding the money when they confirmed they had inspected the car upon it's return and not switching to putting no name on the end of the emails that were being sent so no one was accountable or responsible for dealing with the issue.

Avoid at all cost!! I bought a car from these and it broke down as I was driving it home. The staff were very rude and unhelpful. When I picked the car up it did not have any fuel in the tank. We paid over 20k for this car and expected better. They have a sister company called affordable cars York, google and read the reviews. I feel that Driven of York was bought out by this family for its name
