Forth Carz

Traded in a car August last year and bought a car from forth cars in Falkirk first of all could not fault the service at first. Then after words once all the work was carried on timing chain done under warranty oh yeh better not forget the new clutch as i kindly got remembered off which was also done under warranty when i went in to explain that the car had a oil leak coming from timing cover of what i got advised by many other garages including Vauxhall main dealer even said take it back to who did the work on the car as there are fully responsible for the repair as there carried out the work on the vehicle under warranty so I went back to the garage and explained my issue I had with the car then to turn round and say i I will need to cover the cost of the repair as what ever was leaking from there did not come under warranty so I accepted it then I went away and started thinking and the first thing that came to mind is that something is not right here I can smell a rat so I did some more digging into it and spoke to someone who I know who deals with finance companies with regards to checking out vehicles for independent inspections with a report to send back to the finance company ask him for his opinion on the matter and like many other people I spoken to and other companies I spoken to regarding the matter there all said the same thing stick your hells in and keep pushing them and make it clear you are not paying a penny so I decided to give them other chance to fix it after at there expense I went back in after I sent a email in explaining I am not responsible to be paying for the repair a Geuss you could say that went down like a big of nails and got told by forth Carz Falkirk that its a different company the garage next door so armed with this information I went to company’s house which is open to the public and look what I found it’s the same company forth Carz got its name changed to BANKSIDE MOT & REPAIR CENTRE LTD on the 20th march 2024 so that was the first lie so the car went back in after being off the road for 5 weeks as we had to go and buy other car as there could not get the car in until the 6th April we got the car back on the 9th April and you never Geuss what still leaking oil not even had it back 12 hours back to the garage it went then I sent a email and called saying I am now rejecting the car as there had more than one chance to fix the car and then I said there is something not right here so I did a wee bit more digging on the car and found out also the car had a recall on it since July 2020 which we where not told about at the time at point of sale as it is there responsibility at the point of sale to make you aware of this which failed to do So then when the car got recovered from the road side as the aa could not repair the vehicle ect then I called up saying it’s still leaking oil the car was not coming back home I am now rejecting the car the car was there from 10th of April after it got recovered the night before and got a nice wee parking ticket though the door there where test driving the car at 8.15 at night to Livingston and back some test drive that was at 8.15pm when the garage is closes at 5.30pm on Friday I went in the next day and said to the service desk fair play there admitted to test driving the car and I ask for a explanation why the car was getting used at night as I never give them permission to drive the car after closing hours the answer I got was had to take for a intense road test yeh right at 8.15pm and nice wee parking fine the answer I got back was WHAT PARKING FINE then I showed him the parking fine fair play there paid the fine oh yeah for got to mention he snatched out my hands I have asked numerous of times for Colin Dennis to contact my self and have requested it by email and by going to the garage in person but surprise surprise still did not get in contact with my self what so ever the car was rejected and sorted out that way ect but still lost out on a £1000 deposit just for other people’s reference i have attached the proof from company house that it is the same garage incase you get told that its a different company by any off the sales team which it’s not a different company it is the same company period! I would still like to have a conversation with the owner Colin Dennis to way I was spoken to and I would advise him to speak to his staff members about the bad attitude and acting like little kids at high school if you would still like to speak to my self regarding this matter don’t hesitate to send me a email over or a phone call when ever it suits your self to discuss this matter. Del boy specials here. Cover up there work and then the car falls apart. Had to replace engine. Electrics complete disaster. Absolute loads went wrong. Pure con.
