Found a van on ebay for £500 and enquired about it. I spoke with Michael and discussed about getting the van transported to me which was an extra £125, which I was happy with. After confirming drop off location and payment of £125 for the transport it was all good. Early hours the next day I receive a call from family member informing of a close family member passing. I message Michael to inform him that unfortunately I will need to cancel and asked for refund, Michael's reply basically they dont do refunds on any deposits under any circumstances, but if anything changes let him know. In the adverts on ebay, gumtree and even their own website, nowhere does it state anything about deposits, and Michael not once said to me the £125 is a deposit, he said it was for the transport. I am now angry and dissapointed and will not be using this company in future!

Arrived to look at a VW Golf TDI today, upon arrival the car was not entirely as described. The left front fender was rusty, the paint was bubbling and it was crumbing through (this was not on any of the photos), the lock on the boot was rusty and the wiper blade was falling off on the rear window. The vehicle was SORN with 2 months MOT and they were not willing to put it through another, this should have been a red flag immediately. Aside from this I was willing to deal with the bodywork repairs. Upon starting the engine, the car screeched which sounded like a mechanical problem. I questioned the salesman and he advised me that the starter motor was either sticking or that it was due to the car being sat for a long time. He advised that if it was faulty I'd have to replace it as it had always made that noise, this was BEFORE I had even purchased the car. I asked if I was to take the car would he clean the mouldy cup holder (this must have been missed as the rest was impeccably clean,) he advised me that due to my questions regarding the quality of the car if I was wasting his time that I may as well leave. His attitude was vile. He advised he'd put £1k into the car already and that he wasn't willing to do anymore. I put down a £100 deposit to view the car, I was never advised this wasn't refundable whilst messaging and it wasn't on the original eBay listing. I asked him if he'd buy a car with something that he would have to repair straight away and he couldn't comment... Please take all of the negative reviews seriously, the car was in a far worse state than advertised and the salesman kept telling me not to waste his time when I was questioning the rust, mouldy cup holders and the faulty starter motor.
