Purchased a car from Paul , without physically viewing it , but he sent me a detailed video and photos , it looked very good for the age , he was most helpful and communication was excellent, I arranged a company to collect and deliver to me , when it arrived I asked the driver how the car performed he said it was an excellent drive , and I have to say it looked better than the video or photos , so one very happy customer.

I bought a Dihatsu Terios from this person, with 12 months mot on it.
I took it to have the underneath rust proofed and was told it should not have passed an mot due to the amount of rust present. The krown rustproofing technician supplied me with his written findings and attached photos.
I took it to a local welding repair specialist and was quoted £400 pounds to rectify the problem. I emailed Paul Findley rust photos and quote for repair.
He immediately phoned me back denying any knowledge of the rust problem , I was willing to give him the benefit of my doubt with this as he did not mot the car. I said I had had an estimate for the repair.
He said that he would reimburse me half the amount if I gave him my bank details straight away.
I contacted a week later by email and was told he would bank transfer the £200 the same day. Another week passed and I emailed again asking if there was a problem. Since then I have had no contact from him.
What I find hard to believe is that I had every right under the consumer credit act to reject the car as this obviously was an existing fault and not disclosed prior to purchase and was discovered less than 30 days after purchase.
It would have been beneficial to have contributed £200 and I would have given him a better review.
