Really really sad to be writing this review, but unfortunately my experience with this company has left me no choice. I bought myself a car and went to collect it on the 29th of August 2025. Upon leaving the garage, I noticed a few things that would potentially need me to use my warranty but thought I would give it a chance. As soon as I got on the motorway I heard a very loud high pitch squeaking sound when using my breaks, due to not knowing anything about cars I thought I would mention it along with the other issues I immediately experienced with the car when I took it back to the dealership to be looked at. The first issues I raised were the fact I could hear a loud rattling sound near my exhaust and that the car was struggling to start when I turn the key. He gave me a temporary fix for the heat shield rattle and told me that he had given me a new battery which I was happy with. I then mentioned the very loud squeaky breaks, my air con, my heated seats not working and took it back for the permanent fix on my heat shield which were all sorted, or so I was told. He told me that he had sorted out my breaks and fixed the issue and that they "do not squeak anymore and are perfectly fine" and then proceeded to tell me over the phone how much money my repairs are setting the company back. This isn't my issue, if a warranty isn't justifiable then do not offer it, simple. I drive my car away after the guaranteed fixes and as soon as I got on the motorway to come back home, I could hear the squeaking yet again. As I know nothing about cars as previously stated I decided to listen to the professionals and continue using the car as it was deemed safe by a professional mechanic at R&K. Ignoring the issue further, the issue became louder. I took it to a different mechanic due to being out of warranty now and they told me my breaks are severely dangerous and both the break pads and discs are worn down that badly that it's "metal on metal and has been for a while" and I quote "these have never been changed, it's so easy to tell". So in my frustration of being clearly lied to, I rang the dealership back and explained to them that I am now out of warranty, but the issue was raised during my warranty period and I was lied to about it being fixed. He told me over the phone he was new and needed to speak to the correct people and would ring me back. When I received my phone call back I was told "there's nothing we can do about it" and that they could've have worn down quicker due to them potentially being "poor quality in the first place". No resolution, no fix, no options, nothing. I've cooperated entirely with this company for a while now, even when I was told I had to pay a £500 deposit upon collection of my car which was never discussed, but paid it and went along my way. Now I've been left out of pocket, lied to, and stuck with a car that is not worth the money in the slightest. Avoid this company at all cost. I will be posting this exact review on multiple other platforms also.
