Do not leave a deposit - They will steal it. I rang up and put a £50 deposit on a car to view a car in 3 days time. I was told as long as i gave notice then I would get a refund. I gave over 24 hours notice but never got my money back. I was told it had processed and after waiting a couple weeks and constantly messaging / phoning I was told there was suddenly a 48 hour notice period which was 100% not told to me when i rang up. After more discussion he agreed to give me back my deposit as he knew he didn't say that, but after too many messages and phone calls to count, two months later, I STILL have not received my deposit. I must have been told more than 10 times that the payment had been processed this time and of course, a couple days later there's suddenly another problem. The guy I originally rang about the car and subsequently had been messaging / phoning refused to provide me with his name so I could reference him when I rang the 'office'. Please, save yourself your time and money and go to a reputable dealership.
