The Car Shop Strood

I bought a Mitsubishi L200 from The Car Shop Strood and deeply regret it. During the sales process, the salesman (Chris) was very pushy, and they misrepresented the condition of the vehicle — specifically claiming the side runners were fine when they were so badly rusted they were dangerous and had to be replaced. Shortly after purchase, they damaged the boot of the vehicle and agreed to pay for the repairs, but then went completely radio silent. Despite numerous messages, Chris and the team have not replied for months. Since taking ownership I've had to spend significant money fixing issues that should have been addressed before sale: replacing the exhaust, the stereo, a full £400 service and inspection, and a £300 remap. The vehicle continues to have problems, and there's zero support from the dealer. This has been an extremely stressful and expensive experience. If you're considering buying from The Car Shop Strood, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Poor communication, misrepresented vehicles, and no after-sales care whatsoever.
