I am sharing my experience to warn other buyers on Regit. On 14 March 2026, I agreed to purchase a Skoda Superb (LV58PFX) strictly conditional upon several major repairs being completed. These were documented on an official Job Card by the sales agent, Ibraheem.
The repairs—which included a damaged driver’s seatbelt (safety failure), a faulty thermostat, and engine smoke/turbo noise—were promised to be finished within 10 days. Instead, I was dragged along for nearly four weeks with zero updates.
When I finally inspected the car on 11 April, the repairs were either ignored or botched. The seatbelt remained broken, the thermostat was never replaced, and a new gearbox shudder had developed. Despite a promised valet, the interior was still greasy and odorous.
The situation turned professional to hostile when I requested the refund I was entitled to. The Manager became aggressive, used profanity (the "F-word"), and tried to dismiss the signed Job Card as irrelevant because of the car's age. It was a clear attempt to bypass the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and force me into an unsafe vehicle.
The Verdict:
While the sales agent Ibraheem acted in good faith, the management is unprofessional and refuses to honor written agreements. I have rejected the vehicle and am escalating this to the FCA, FOS, and BVRLA with full evidence (recorded calls, WhatsApp logs, and photos).
Think twice before handing over your money here.
