AVOID AT ALL COST OR BRING A MECHANIC TO CHECK BEFORE YOU BUY! I bought a Fiat Punto from Alex at AJ Autos previously known as UCS Car Finance on 8th February 2018. Within two days the front left indicator had given up. Took it down Halfords to get the bulb changed to find out the whole indicator unit had been gaffer taped together in a complete bodge job. That cost me £34 plus VAT and labour to get repaired. Then on the 7th April while travelling down the A2, with my children in the car, the Fiat lost all power and steering. Luckily I managed to manoeuvre the car to the off ramp for the Strood/Rochester junction. As I had no power I couldn’t even put my hazard lights on to warn the other cars hurtling up behind me. It’s a miracle that we weren’t all killed. Big shout out to the AA who rescued us. This debacle is because the Fiat had the wrong, less powerful battery installed and a dodgy alternator. The alternator’s bracket was also damaged by “someone” who had tried to replace the alternator. Proof that the fault was pre-known, not fixed and certainly not mentioned to me. And this has just cost me another £430 plus VAT and labour to get fixed. I shall certainly be reporting this company to Autotrader, the RAC, the Motor Ombudsman and the Motor Trade Association. Side note to this : the director of UCS is John Treeby. UCS was dissolved on 12 December 2017 and AJ Autos has not been registered at Companies House.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM - Faulty car which they were aware of and said the car had been sitting there for a long period of time, They bumped started the car when I left purchasing the garage and wouldn't start, I then contacted them and they came round the corner and bumped started it and said its a flat battery and will need a good charge, I took it home and still wouldn't start and took the car to another garage and said its the starter motor and they knew about this! Alex from the sales from this awful garage said "Oh yeah it would be and said that they will pay the garage fees" He said the money will go in straight away, after a few days excuses after excuses everyone gone to the hospital, accountants, himself, then other stories! All correspondence has been logged and passed onto my solicitor to further this. DO NOT BUY!!

Would not recommend purchasing from this dealership!!! Before a month was out I had to use my breakdown cover with the RAC and the OSF had a severe rim leak and faulty valve, the tyre had tyre weld in it which had ruined the tyre and he also pointed out to me that the dealership would have known of this problem as they would have to keep pumping up the tyre whilst on the forecourt. The NSF is beyond the legal limit (not done by myself as I have hardly driven the car) but advised by the RAC Engineer that the car purchased from an RAC Approved Dealership should not have been sold in this condition! I've gone back to the dealership and have had no response, which is funny as they came back to me within minutes when I said that I wanted to purchase the car... it's an issue that is simple to resolve and they have disappeared off the face of the earth!!

This is a brilliant dealer. I was in urgent need of a new car. So rang them direct, explained what I was looking for, and luckily they had the car I wanted in stock. Sorted out the finance and all the paper work. And I picked the car up the following day. It was so quick, easy and very friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a new car.
