All Citroen approved used vans have been prepared to reassuringly high standards. As such, to qualify for 'approved' status these workhorses have been subjected to numerous checks. These include both mileage and history verification, plus a 112 point pre-delivery inspection. Citroen also throw-in a twelve month warranty, one year's breakdown insurance, and a thirty day exchange policy. These benefits come under the umbrella of the Citroen Select Approved Used Scheme, which can also apply to cars such as the C5.

Citroen approved used vans come in various shapes and sizes. An excellent choice for small load-luggers is the popular Nemo. This may only be 3.8 metres long – but its storage capacity is an impressive 2.8m3. This is assuming that the passenger seat is folded flat beneath the floor, otherwise the Nemo's capacity falls to 2.5m3. New prices start at £9,265 plus VAT, but approved 2008 models can be found from £6,000 plus the Chancellor’s cut.

Alternatively, larger hold-all lovers may prefer the cavernous Citroen Relay Panel Van. This comes in numerous guises so its storage volume ranges from 8m3 to 17m3. New prices start at a rather considerable £17,940 plus VAT, but an approved 2007 example could be carrying your tool kit from only £7,000 plus tax. It is common for Citroen approved used vans to have low mileages, so this price should secure one with plenty of life. Happy days.
