The Peugeot 2008 Crossover Urban Cross is a special edition version of the manufacturer's best selling, crossover class, vehicle. It blends the robust, off-road, look of a 4x4 with the compact external proportions of a supermini. It is only slightly longer than the 208, in fact. The Urban Cross is distinguished via the: 17" Eridan Black alloy wheels, special badges and decals (stickers), black mirrors and branded scuff plates and mats. Engines
The Peugeot 2008 Crossover Urban Cross is available with petrol and diesel power. Both engines are teamed with 5-speed manual transmission, and front wheel drive. The 1.2-litre PureTech, 110 HP, petrol propels it to 62mph in 9.9 seconds. Top speed is 119mph. This power plant also averages 60.1mpg and emits carbon at a rate of 103g/km. Maximum torque is 205Nm at 1,500rpm. The 1.6-litre BlueHDi 100 HP diesel, in contrast, propels motorists to 62mph in 11.3 seconds and on to 112mph. It also produces 254Nm of torque at 1,750rpm, averages 76.3mpg and its tailpipe emissions total 97g/km.
Equipment
The Peugeot 2008 Crossover Urban Cross incorporates grip control that is operated via a dial and optimises traction on slippery surfaces.
