A survey of 2,000 drivers, commissioned by Škoda, revealed the top Christmas driving songs, with 'Fairytale of New York' by the Pogues and Kirsty MacColl topping the poll, followed by Chris Rea's 'Driving Home for Christmas'.
The ideal Christmas playlist length was found to be 18 songs, with a catchy chorus (44 percent), festive lyrics (35 percent), and a nostalgic connection (33 percent) identified as key elements for a classic festive hit.
