Subject: Complaint Regarding Recent Service Experience at Ultimate Garage Services Dear Ultimate Garage Services I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service I received at your garage on 19/04/2024. My experience was far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to bring it to your attention. Upon bringing in my vehicle for a diagnostic, I expected a certain level of professionalism and competence from your team. However, the service I received fell far short of these expectations. Not only was the work completed poorly, but the customer service was also lacking. During the experience your staff explained it isn’t their fault my car is broke (after my third visit for the same issue to your garage) Firstly, the repair work performed on my vehicle was subpar. After diagnosing the problem with your plug in (EGR valve) you had my car overnight called the next day and told me the EGR arm was snapped resulting in the EGR always being open and clogging it up You advised me the EGR arm will be replaced to save me money (£240) instead of replacing the EGR I received my car back on the Friday evening you notified me the airbox was broke and nothing to worry about Anyway drove my car for 3 minutes and the engine light came back on so I waited the whole weekend and came to see you first thing on the Monday Plugged in your diagnostic machine to quickly tell me the EGR needs replacing (£350) I received my car back 2 days later Again at the end of the day, member of your staff said it had been driven to Newport and back 4 times it works fine I drove off the car is in limp mode and will not go above 3000 RPM Came to see you first thing unhappy with the work carried out, costs, time taken and car still being in disrepair I asked for my money back for the last job as I felt like I was being taken for a walk down the garden path To be told I’m not having my money back and it’s not your fault the car is broke (after 2 visits and £580 later this is up for debate) I took it to a more respectable garage who advised me the airbox had been snapped off and the air mass filter was left hanging off along with 2 bolts missing from the EGR valve replacement (they provided a video) and just charged me £60 Also my full beam headlights haven’t been operational since Additionally, the communication from your staff regarding the status of my vehicle was inadequate. I received conflicting information about when the repairs would be completed, causing unnecessary inconvenience and frustration. Furthermore, the attitude of your staff was unprofessional and dismissive. Rather than addressing my concerns with empathy and understanding, they seemed indifferent to my dissatisfaction told me it wasn’t their fault and to f**k off As a loyal customer who has relied on your services in the past, I am deeply disappointed by this experience. I trust that you will take appropriate action to rectify the situation and ensure that such lapses in service do not occur in the future. Wouldn’t trust them to put a LEGO set together Regards
