The one star is for the pre-purchase care. Everything was excellent. In April, I messaged the garage at gone 7pm, and was called straight away to discuss the car. Within a couple of days, everything was sorted and a date was arranged for us to travel from Cornwall to Oldham to PX. On the test drive of the car, the injector seal popped off. No biggie, it happens and Avanti Group paid to have it fixed then and there before the drive back to Cornwall. The next day, it happened again. I let the garage know, who called me at 10pm to talk me through things and agreed for us to take it to a local mechanic to be diagnosed and repaired, I was told they would pay this through the warranty. When the car was ready to be collected, I spoke to Avanti who said that if I paid the bill - I would be reimbursed directly from them. This conversation happened in May, and after months of me chasing, multiple messages/calls/emails being ignored, I resulted in sending out a warning letter to advise I would be contacting the small claims court if I was not reimbursed the £500. This payment was only received yesterday, 25th September. Upon exchange of my car, it was agreed that they would pay the finance off of my Peugeot and the amounts were all agreed. However, Avanti did not pay the finance off on my Peugeot for a further 3 months. This meant that I had to pay a further £480 for a car I no longer had. This took months of me chasing to finally be rectified, and I have not received or been offered reimbursement for this. I did not receive notification from the DVLA to confirm the transfer of my Peugeot, or the purchase of my Touareg. Further to this, I received two warning letters from Manchester Police for the Peugeot being driven around without insurance, still in my name. This resulted in me having to pay a fine to the DVLA. I, again, have received no reimbursement or offer of reimbursement for this despite notifying the garage and providing the invoice/receipt. I have had to contact the DVLA directly to obtain the V5 for my Touareg, and to remove my name from the Peugeot. I have also had to contact Manchester Police and Trading Standards due to the service received from Avanti Motor Group, and the car being driven around illegally in my name. Personally, I would not recommend this garage unless you have a spare 6 months after purchase to chase your tail and get things sorted. In looking at companies house and auto trader, I also believe this company to be trading under the business '88 Motorhouse'.

Don't do it! Do your research, this trader is dishonest and does not play by the rules. Extremely disappointing experience, definitely not professional. Don't be fooled.

Please don’t a buy a car from here. Go elsewhere, total nightmare to deal with. Wrong charger with car, didn’t know the PIN number for the charger so couldn’t use for a month, premised he would sort but ended up doing it myself. Took 4 weeks for a sales invoice. Still waiting for log book 3 month later. Don’t think he ever posted it. Still waiting for sun visor clip which was promised he ordered. Just constant chasing to get things sorted and Now just flat ignoring me. Just poor behaviour and shouldn’t be selling cars if they can’t provide a decent service.

Do not touch this dealer with a huge barge pole. He is the biggest rip-off merchant going and given the chance, will take you for everything you've got. Refund a deposit? No chance. Lie and tell you what you want to hear, absolutely. Don't fall for the initial charm. And mr. dealer (Adam, if that is even your real name), please don't insult my intelligence by saying I have the wrong dealer, I don't. Similar experience to Kadi (1*) above. Do your research. All reviews are either 5* or 1*, nothing in between (on sll sites), what does that tell you? all 5* are written in the same manner (pushing the 1*'s down). I wouldn't even advise to act with caution, I would just say full on AVOID. He made my friends life hell. Please save yourself the hassle from this snake. How he gets away with trading like this is beyond me.

Do not bother buying a car from this dealer unless you want to get a scrap car bought on auction. I had issues with the car the day I bought it. Tried to return the car within the 30 day period as per the Consumer Right Act only to be charged £250 by the dealer to return the car. According to the dealer the charges were for adding another driver onto the vehicle, mileage and the fact that he had to readvertise the car. Paid the money as I did not wish to keep the car anymore. Once the money was paid, he then decided that there were damages to the car supposedly caused by us. The supposed damages were scratches which the car was full of on the day of purchase. I was asked by the broker (Zuto) who is also untrustworthy to provide a report to prove the car was faulty in order. Two independent reports found there to be fault with the car but now the dealer is accusing me of tampering with the car. On top of this, both broker and dealer have lied to say that they have offered to refund back the £250 which they haven't. The whole ordeal has been very stressful and I'm still trying to return the wretched car. Oh and the 15 month warranty is just a scam, they know they're selling crap cars so it's to cover their backs. After the 15 months you'll be left with a scrap car you'll have ro fork out a lot of cash to fix. Don't do it!!!
