Car Hub Birmingham LTD T/A Car Central

Bought car online on 10/06/23, took Car Hub 1 month to deliver car. Arrived here faulty, nearly 2000 miles higher than advertised, no service history (stated FSH), only 1 door opened. Tried to return car. Harry was rude. No evidence of PDI or service I had paid £135 for. Got AA involved. Harry refused to refund me. Had car inspected, told it was faulty & would fail MOT. Car Hub had MOT’d car on 1/7/23 with no advisories, this was a fake MOT. I reported this to DVSA. Still no refund. So I had car put through MOT, it failed on 18 points, there was a huge hole in the exhaust. Still no refund. Had car put through 2nd MOT, it failed, was a `”Dangerous Do Not Drive”. Steering pipe exploded on way to 2nd MOT. I had driven car for only 4 miles since delivery at this point. Still no refund. Car finally recovered by Car Hub 30/10/23. No refund. They had new MOT done and are now selling the car I still own. 5 months later, no car, no money, no refund. Going to court now.

After a previous bad experience purchasing a car a few years ago, I was very hesitant to purchase a used car again. However, after travelling 2.5 hours to Car Central to view a car I had seen on Autotrader, I can honestly say the service was amazing from start to finish. A detailed video was sent over to me prior to my appt, and when I got there they couldn’t do enough to help! Car is fantastic and exactly as described so happy I purchased from Car Central.

We had been looking for weeks and had travelled to various parts of the UK, but then found the perfect car 2 minutes down the road. They were honest and thorough, taking their own initiative to make sure the car was top quality before leaving the lot. Small things like powder coating the wheels makes all the difference!
