Marshalls should be ashamed with how I've been treated. My journey started with Marshalls 14/03/24 I'd been on the hunt refreshing Autotrader for months waiting for a Jaguar XF in the spec and colours I wanted finally it came and I put my deposit down straight away after seeing it was being sold by a so called reputable dealer.
The lies started straight away by a sales person of the name Ramone Young. I was told by Ramone my car would be ready for the following Monday (18/03/25) after a major service which included the cambelt. In preparation for collecting my new car I was pushed by Ramone to sell my current car which I sold very quickly and planned my transportation down from Sheffield to Adlington.
The Day before collection (17/03/24) I'm now told there's been a delay in parts for the cambelt and the car would now be ready the day after. I'm left scrabbling to change the date for the transportation and had to deal with the extra fees of changing the dates.
18/03/25 I'm told by Ramone and another higher sales person (forgotten name) that there's been another delay and that they're very sorry but now I'll have to wait until the next week because of delays for parts. This has now left me without a car and no way of getting to work. I change the dates again for the transport (more cost to me) and prepare to collect the following week.
The following week I'm told Ramone is no longer with the company and I'm now referred to another sales person. I was later told by someone (not naming who told me) at Marshalls he was asked to leave because of how he handled my situation.
At this point the lies have stopped and I'm told there's no ETA on the parts we're waiting for. I also learn the parts I'm waiting for was for the drive belt and not the cambelt I was originally told.
I'm left to pay for my own transport to and from work and lost the money it cost for me and my partner to travel from Sheffield to Adlington. This is enough to cause stress and major inconvenience to anyone, I'm losing money and having my time wasted.
Alot of time passed without hearing much from Marshalls unless I contacted them. I chased them up almost daily with them telling me the same thing. No ETA as they have to wait for the parts from Jaguar.
At this point I'd been without a car for 2 months and was bored of waiting so I asked for part numbers and ordered the part myself. This came almost instantly and they got on with the work. My car was then finally ready to be collected which I did on 26/05/24. That's a nearly 3 month wait on a car I was told would be ready 3 days after my deposit.
The car was clean on the outside but inside was quite filthy crumbs and debris in the door cards and between the trim. I opened the sunroof on the way home which let out a brunch of dead leaves.
04/06/25 After having the car for just 1 and a half weeks I had to take the car to the garage because the check engine light had already come on. The break pads worm light also came on which I did warm them about as it was advised on the MOT. I was told it was simply because it had been sat awhile. This wasn't the case the disks actually crumbled in hand.
The turbos ended up being the culprit for the engine light turned out they both had oil leaking out of them.
The car was striped by a local specialist to have the car inspected by the warranty. They agreed to have the turbos changed by couldn't agree on price so I was left without a car again for a month waiting for them to agree on a price. Yet again more cost to me funding my own transport.
Now just 2 months out of warranty my steering rack has failed and Marshalls have gone radio silent. No response to my emails. JLR don't want to offer any sort of goodwill contribution either. This has left me with a bill of £3.2k and again no car while this was being sorted.
You'd hope with how I've been treated by Marshalls they'd want to improve customer relations.
I would not recommend this dealership due to dishonesty and poor customer service.

I would strongly suggest you avoid purchasing a vehicle from Marshall Jaguar Oxford (Milton Gate). I state this because I am hugely disappointed and shocked by Marshalls Jaguar Oxford as a result of the service which I have experienced from Roy Humphry and Aaron Pearce. I purchase a F Pace on 31 August 2022 and straight after funds were transferred & car collected, things went downhill and badly. I was told that the vehicle would be serviced immediately prior to collection and that I would be given evidence of this. Every week since purchase, I have taken a look at the online jaguar service history record and the service was not applied however conveniently upon Aaron Pearce’s, a sales manager, request it has appeared on the history, 5 weeks later and being backdated to time of purchase… The problems do not end here. The mileage on the manually applied service record was “carried out” several days after the MOT, but has fewer miles than the MOT?!?!. Therefore, it can only be assumed that there are discrepancies with the miles but I cannot comment on who was responsible for this.
Further to the above, the car was handed over with 35 miles range left and being in the middle of a dual carriageway, I pretty much had little to no miles left once I reached a garage. I was told I would be reimbursed for this but 5 weeks have passed since and nothing has been done. I was also told I would have been picked up from the station on the day of collection, but this was not honoured either and I was told on the last minute as I was pulling into the station.
Only was given one key upon collection and promised that this would be sent to me, but again doesn’t surprise me that the promises appear to be false and I haven’t received this either. There were also several faults with the Jaguar, rattling appearing from the right door card, behind the steering wheel and pan roof. Breaks are squealing hideously, car audio static/feedback, gear changes are delayed In normal driving modes, car alignment is awful – car veers to the left, there is a knocking sound coming from the suspension followed by creaks within the car. I emailed them 3 times to notify of these issues.
To conclude this experience with Marshall Jaguar Oxford has been awful despite having paid a lot of money for the vehicle. I wouldn’t ever purchase another vehicle from the Jaguar Oxford and based on my experience, wouldn’t recommend you too either. Having had a look at the recent reviews too, it appears like others have had similar experiences to mine.
