Daniel Ricciardo has always been one of F1’s most likeable stars, quick on track, fearless with his overtakes, and always the guy cracking jokes with a grin on his face. Over a 13-year career, he’s picked up eight race wins, a massive fanbase, and a serious love for cars that match his big personality.
And now, one of the crown jewels from his collection is about to hit the auction block.
Ricciardo is selling his Aston Martin Valkyrie, a hypercar so wild it’s basically a Formula 1 car for the road. He bought it back in 2018 while driving for Red Bull, then sponsored by Aston Martin, and it’s one of just 150 road-going coupes ever made. This one has barely been driven too, with just 99 miles on the clock.
What makes it special? Apart from being his car, it’s kitted out with Aston Martin’s bespoke Q personalisation. It wears a custom £30,000 paint job called Dichroic Dawn, which Ricciardo nicknamed Badger Blue to match his Honey Badger moniker. It’s loaded with carbon fibre, magnesium wheels, and an interior dripping in Alcantara. Basically, it screams Ricciardo.
Power comes from a 6.5-litre V12 engine developed with Cosworth, paired with a hybrid system to push out around 1,000hp and rev all the way to 11,100rpm. That’s race car territory.
The car is going under the hammer at the Broad Arrow Zoute Concours Auction in Belgium on 10 October 2025. Estimated price? Between £2m to £2.4m. Serious money, but for a Valkyrie with genuine F1 driver ownership, it’s the ultimate collector’s flex.
And if £2.4m is a bit out of reach, there’s also a rarer but way cheaper Aston Martin x Brough Superior AMB 001 motorbike at the same auction. Only 100 were made, it’s track-only, turbocharged, and expected to fetch up to £220k. Still crazy money, but a fraction of the Valkyrie.
Ricciardo himself once said the Valkyrie feels pretty much like a race car with a roof, and now someone else will get the chance to own it.
