Is Peugeot Producing some of the Best SUVs On The Market?

The current lineup of Peugeot cars is probably the strongest that they have ever had at any one time and the Peugeot appeal is growing exponentially with every new addition to the range. While their GTi models might be the most exciting of the lot, but the most interesting models are certainly their SUVs. Every model in their SUV lineup has been updated, and they are some of the best available in each respective segment. Take a closer look, and try before you buy with a test drive.

Peugeot 2008 from £20,150

The 2008 is a compact SUV that goes toe-to-toe with both the Nissan Juke and the Renault Captur, but it excels in areas where the other two clearly fall short. For example, the interior is covered in comfortably and warming fabrics which are pleasing to touch and welcoming. Then there is the boot space, which is a capacious 410 litres.

The 2008 is also extremely frugal. Even the most powerful 1.2 PureTech engines will return up to 47mpg, while the most economical is the 1.5 BlueHDi diesel which should offer a massive 67mpg on the motorway. The 2008 is on sale right now with the following offers.

  • PCP offer on Active 1.2L PureTech 100 for £279 deposit & £1,231 x 48 months at 5% APR
  • PCP offer on GT Line 1.2L PureTech 130 for £379 deposit & £645 x 48 months at 5% APR

Peugeot 3008 from £25,856

The 3008 caused a massive stir when the new model was released, this is now a smooth-riding SUV whereas the previous was a people carrier. The interior of the new 3008 is simply stunning and like no other on the market. The dash is ergonomic and features pleasing cockpit-like buttons, a textured dashboard and an extremely smart-looking infotainment unit. It is also worth mentioning that the quality of the fit and finish inside the whole cabin is sublime.

Like in the 2008, the most powerful 1.2 PureTech engines will return up to 39mpg and it’s the 1.5-litre BlueHDi model that will get you the furthest on one tank, as you can expect up to 56mpg on a motorway journey. The 3008 is on sale right now with the following offer.

  • PCP offer on Allure 1.2L PureTech 130 for £319 x 48 months at 5.9% APR

Peugeot 5008 from £29,915

And finally, the big boy of the Peugeot SUV family, the new 5008. Following the same styling cues that exist on the smaller 3008, only on a greater scale and with even more luxuries stuffed inside. The 5008 is a very spacious 3-row 7 seater that can actually fit 7 people in relative comfort. The back row seats pop up from the floor and fold away efficiently, leaving a massive 780 litres of luggage space, and 1,940 litres with all the seats down.

Once again the 1.5-litre BlueHDi model is the most economical. Even when pulling a big 7 seater, this torquey diesel engine will still offer up to 56mpg. The 5008 is on sale right now with the following offers.

  • PCP offer on GT Line Premium 1.2L PureTech 130 for £399 x 48 months at 5.9% APR
