Peugeot, the leading manufacturer in electric light commercial vehicle sales in Europe, has now made its new range of electric vans available for ordering in the UK. Initial customer deliveries are scheduled to kick off in the Spring.
They've given a makeover to their E-Partner, E-Expert, and E-Boxer models, offering revamped looks, better power systems, and updated tech.
All three vans sport new smooth grilles with Peugeot's updated shield logo and updated headlights. LED headlights are standard on the E-Boxer and optional on higher grades of the E-Partner and E-Expert.
These vans, covering small, mid-size, and large segments, now offer a 10-inch digital instrument panel and infotainment screen with ChatGPT integration. Peugeot claims these will respond naturally to voice commands, provide assistance while driving, and even suggest places to visit.
Peugeot E-Partner:
Peugeot's smallest van now goes further on a single charge, reaching up to 205 miles thanks to efficiency upgrades. They've also equipped it with a three-stage regenerative braking system, helping drivers make the most of their journeys. Charging options are versatile, with 100kW DC charging available across all versions, and the choice of 11kW AC charging.
The E-Partner retains its 136bhp motor, maintaining its payload and towing capacity at 780kg and 750kg, respectively. There are two body sizes to choose from: a standard 4.4m van with up to three seats, or a longer 4.75m version offering either three or five seats.
Prices for the Professional trim start at £26,205 after applying the Plug-in Van Grant (PiVG), while the Asphalt trim begins at £27,555. Inside, the Professional trim features a smartphone dock, DAB radio, and Bluetooth connectivity. Meanwhile, the Asphalt spec boasts a new 10-inch digital instrument display and touchscreen with connected navigation. Asphalt models also come with additional features like LED headlights, body-coloured bumpers, and door handles.
All E-Partners come with safety features including driver attention alert, advanced emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, cruise control, and rear parking sensors. The Asphalt trim goes further with the addition of Dynamic Surround View, offering enhanced visibility with a camera system displaying the rear and passenger side views, particularly useful in a panel van configuration.
Peugeot E-Expert:
The new E-Expert follows the same trim options as the E-Partner, with Asphalt trim featuring full LED lights, body-coloured bumpers, power folding mirrors, and 17-inch wheels for added style.
Inside, both trims come standard with a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10-inch touchscreen, and a heated driver’s seat. The Asphalt trim steps it up with the i-Connect Advanced infotainment system featuring TomTom connected navigation.
Under the bonnet, the E-Expert shares the same 136bhp/193lb ft motor as the E-Partner but pairs it with a 75kWh battery, delivering up to 217 miles of range. It also comes with regenerative braking and 100kW DC charging, allowing for a swift 0-80% charge in just 45 minutes.
Prices for the E-Expert start at £36,210 after applying the PiVG. You can choose from various versions including Standard or Long panel vans and Standard or Long five or six-seater crew vans. These models offer generous load space, a payload of 1,000kg, and a towable weight of 1,000kg.
Excitingly, starting next year, the E-Expert will be manufactured in Britain alongside the Vauxhall Vivaro Electric at Vauxhall’s Luton factory.
Peugeot E-Boxer:
The new E-Boxer stands as Peugeot’s largest model, available exclusively in Professional trim starting at £44,485 after the PiVG.
Externally, it flaunts full LED headlights, a fresh front bumper, revamped rear-view mirrors, and a new body-colour grille designed to regulate airflow automatically.
Inside, expect a revamped steering wheel, dashboard, seat fabrics, and door panels. A 10-inch touchscreen offers connected navigation, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard. Other perks include automatic climate control, a wireless phone charger, and keyless entry and start.
Under the bonnet, the E-Boxer boasts an enhanced powertrain delivering 266bhp and 295lb ft of torque. Its 110kWh battery grants a driving range of up to 261 miles, with regenerative braking for efficiency. Fast charging capabilities mean you can reach 80% battery in just 55 minutes using 100kW DC charging, while 11kW AC charging comes standard for swift depot charging.
Prices for the E-Boxer range from £44,485 to £46,915, offering panel van or chassis cab configurations in two different lengths, all based on the 4.04m wheelbase.
