Top four medium panel vans

When it comes to finding the perfect balance between cargo capacity and manoeuvrability, medium-sized panel vans step into the spotlight. Nestled between the compact vans and their larger counterparts, these vehicles offer a sweet spot that's ideal for businesses seeking a versatile and practical solution.

Renowned manufacturers Citroen, Fiat, Ford, Mercedes, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Toyota, Vauxhall, and Volkswagen, all have great vans in this segment. Here are four to look out for...

LEVC VN5: Stepping beyond the boundaries of London's iconic black cabs, the LEVC VN5 enters the commercial vehicle arena. This plug-in hybrid van boasts an impressive electric range of up to 61 miles, with a range-extender petrol engine taking the total range to approximately 300 miles. With safety features and an agility suited for urban environments, the VN5 addresses both efficiency and practicality.

Mercedes Vito: Embracing a blend of functionality and prestige, the Mercedes Vito brings the obvious pull of the powerhouse brand. It's available in different panel van lengths and the Vito offers a choice between trim levels and a whole hose of on board tech and features.

Fiat Scudo: Joining the ranks of shared platform vans, the Fiat Scudo aligns itself with the likes of Vauxhall Vivaro, Toyota Proace, Citroen Dispatch, and Peugeot Expert. The van has a 'Magic Cargo' system to help with the transportation of bulky items and has proven to be very adaptable by those that have one.

Toyota Proace: The Proace has a rage of fuel types with diesel, hybrid, and all-electric powertrain options and shares its platform with the Citroën Dispatch, Peugeot Expert and Vauxhall Vivaro - this has been the case since 2013 when the Proace name first appeared. The Proace is predictably reliable and well recommended.
