With the coldest months of the year fast approaching, what do you need to do to ensure your car is Winter Ready?

Let’s face it. Nobody wants to break down at any time of the year. But you really don’t want to be sitting on the hard shoulder on the M6 whilst it’s minus 2 degrees.

You could follow our winter survival tips, take yourself outdoors into the cold and check all the things you need to do to get your car in peak condition before your next trip.

Then you’ll also face the effort of watching a series of YouTube videos on:

How to check my oil?

What is a dipstick?

Where is my dipstick?

What oil does my car use?

How much oil do I put in?

You get the message. If you’re a newish driver it’s all a bit complicated. So why bother? Plus, it’s freezing outside, so why would you?

Luckily, Vauxhall have the perfect solution for new drivers or stay on the sofa drivers and you don’t need to drive a Vauxhall.

For just £15 (or a tenner if you use their free to join service club for Vauxhall owners) they will do a winter check on any make and model* and top up vital fluids If needed.

  • Clutch fluid
  • Antifreeze
  • Power steering fluid

They’ll also check your lights, battery, brakes, tyres and suspension to give your vehicle a clean bill of health or advise where you might need to do a little maintenance.

You can even book online, so you really can stay on your sofa.
