Terrible company, avoid it at all costs. If only I could leave a 0-star review. This company sells unroadworthy cars and fraudulently passes the MOT in order to make a sale. Mercedes dealership told me my car was unsafe to drive and it would not have passed the MOT. I informed Happier Cars of this and requested for a refund within 30 days as per my rights under the Consumer Rights Act. All this company did was ignore all my correspondence. I paid cash for my car in March 2024, we're now in May and they still owe me my refund. Their webchat is a joke, when you report an issue, all they provide you with are stock responses, asking for your contact details and say someone will contact you but no one ever does. They make you all sorts of promises at the time of sale, which they never fulfill after you’ve purchased the car. This is a small company that has no independent complaints procedure; the same people that sell you the car, are the same people who will look into your complaint. Also, they are not registered with any trade association; this is a big red flag. Any reputable dealership would sign up to a motor trade association, it’s unfortunate I didn’t know of this before I purchased my car. They knowingly put my family in danger by selling an unsafe car. They think they are above the law.

The word of Ian Mack cannot be trusted. Purchased 30k car from them, reported an issue to Ian within two days, in that the exhaust needed the heavily corroded bolts replacing as it had a slight blow. Made Ian aware, and sent across the quote to rectify. We agreed (in writing) that he would pay half of the cost, so had the work done. Sent over the proof of payment, Nothing, have sent a reminder email every Monday for 12 weeks. Zero response, it’s not about the value of the repair just the principle. He cannot be trusted.
