A 22-year-old driver has been disqualified for two years after crashing at 75mph on a tyre that has a recommended top speed of 50mph.

Dashcam footage shows Jack Doolan swerving across all three lanes of the M25 after losing control of his Ford Mondeo.

His car was fitted with a space-saving tyre that has a recommended maximum speed of 50mph.

He then fled the scene and was later arrested by officers.

Doolan must also carry out 200 hours of unpaid work as part of his punishment, complete 10 days of rehabilitation activity and pay £250 in costs.
