‘The Audi e-tron is the global top seller among electric vehicles made by German premium manufacturers’, the motor manufacturer emphasised. ‘In Norway, it is even the best selling of all models’.
The Audi e-tron’s performance was particularly welcome as the manufacturer struggled overall. Why? Because coronavirus took a significant toll. In 2020, global sales fell 8.3% compared to the previous year (down to 1,692,773). Sales fell in Europe (-19.5%), the United States (-16.7%), Mexico (-21.1%) and Brazil (-19.2%). In contrast, sales rose in the Chinese mainland and Hong Hong (+5.4%).
Audi e-tron overview
The Audi e-tron is the manufacturer’s first electric vehicle. Note that its styling is conventional.
