A seven-year old boy who is ‘mad about cars’ was given a birthday to remember after over 100 classic and supercars turned up at a meeting arranged just for him.

His mother, Trinity Robins, organised the event after posting an appeal on social media.

Caterjay, from Taunton, told the BBC his favourite car was the Nissan skyline GTR r34.

"The taillights look cool and it has good designs," he said.

Ms Robins took to Facebook to post an appeal which was answered in a way she could never have dreamed of. Sporting Bears, a classic an sports car enthusiasts’ group pledged to help, while American Muscle UK organised a 30-car-long convoy to join the meet.

The only headache Ms Robins was left with was finding a space big enough.

Fortunately, the University of Somerset in Taunton said they were happy to host and the event went ahead.
