The incident happened last week in Lewisham, London.

A video of a cyclist being knocked off their bike by a van has caused a debate on social media with regards to who was in the wrong.

The incident happened in Lewisham last week with both the van driver and the cyclist turning left down a left only street,

The cyclist appeared to cut inside the van and then run out into its path – effectively riding straight to the scene of an accident.

Michael Snasdell, who filmed the incident, posted in his caption on Twitter that both parties were OK and no serious injuries were sustained. He also asked: "Left turn only lane, bike passes van on the inside mid-corner. Interested to hear people's opinions on where fault lays?"
