Watch the moment this reckless BMW driver lost control whilst trying to show off

A driver lost control of his BMW and crashed into a crowd of people outside the British Motor Museum, as captured in a shocking video.

Onlookers were attending an event called 'Tucked' on Sunday when the incident occurred, allegedly caused by the driver attempting to drift his car.

The footage shows the silver car colliding with a traffic light and knocking over several petrolheads, and the video, first posted on TikTok with the caption 'idiot can't control his car and ruined the mood at tucked', has gone viral.

The police have seized the vehicle and are investigating the driver for dangerous driving. Fortunately, no one was reported to have been seriously injured in the accident, as per The Sun.

The British Motor Museum tweeted: 'We are aware of an incident that took place on the B4100 today. We take issues of road safety very seriously and whilst we won't be commenting further at this time, we will investigate and act accordingly.'

A spokesman from Warwickshire Police said: 'A car has been seized and a male is being investigated for dangerous driving following an incident outside a car show in Gaydon yesterday.

'At 3.56pm yesterday, 2nd April, police were called to a report of a vehicle hitting pedestrians on Banbury Road.

'Officers arrived and ascertained that, while leaving an event for modified cars, a BMW 5 Series collided with several pedestrians and damaged a traffic light before being driven off.

'None of the pedestrians sustained serious injuries.

'The car was located down the road and seized under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002.

'The driver has been identified and officers are presently investigating.'
