The official launch of the Fiat 500C cabriolet will be at the Geneva motor show next month. The car features an electronically operated canvas roof that slides back to the cars boot lid. The soft top arrangement allows the C-pillars to stay in place meaning the cars structural rigidity is not affected.
The new 500C is exactly the same size as the basic model. The full range of 1.2 and 1.4 petrol and 1.3 diesel engines will be offered in Pop, Lounge and Sport guises as with the hatch and two new colours will arrive, Pearl Red and Warm Grey and the soft top will come in Ivory, Red or Black canvas.
The Fiat 500C is expected to be priced well below the Mini Convertible when it goes on sale in Europe later this year.
