
Elon Musk has hit back at reports that faults with Tesla’s Autopilot system caused the deaths of two men in Texas.
Police reported that nobody was present in the driver's seat at the time of the accident after bodies were found in the burnt out wreckage in the front passenger seat and back of the vehicle.
The 2019 Tesla Model S was traveling at a high speed when it failed to negotiate a curve on a winding road and the victims were both in their 50s.

Tesla's Autopilot is an advanced driver assistance system that Tesla says "enhances safety and convenience behind the wheel".
Musk has previously laid out his vision for “fully self-driving” cars to be made available this year.
