The new Ford Metal Ka will debut at the Geneva Motor Show later this week. The Ford Metal Ka replaces the Tattoo version and sits alongside the Grand Prix and Digital models. Priced at approximately £8545 the Ford Metal Ka will be on sale in the UK at the end of March.
The Ford Metal Ka is available with the 1.3-litre Duratorq TDCi and 1.2-litre Duratec engine it has a unique dark styling combining dark glossy and metallic elements. The exterior has a high gloss black painted grille surround with chrome door and tailgate handles and standard silver 16” alloy wheels there is the option of black alloy wheels. A large chrome finish ‘Ka’ badge is on the rear of the car with small chrome ‘Ka’ badges on the B pillars.
The interior of the Ford Metal Ka features a leather steering wheel with gloss black spoke shell, top-stitched with silver thread. Silver top stitched floor mats with metallised Ka emblem and a handbrake lever in leather and chrome effect.
Martin Smith, Ford of Europe’s executive design director said "with Ford Metal Ka we're looking at fashion and also a little bit of luxury. You often see high gloss black in large and luxury segment cars but combined with the chrome this is something that is really fun."
