Research conducted by Scrap Car Comparison has ranked drivers’ intelligence based on the brand of car that they drive.
Skoda, Suzuki and Peugeot drivers typically have a higher IQ than all of the other car brands, with Land Rover owners taking home the wooden spoon.
Fiat and BMW occupied the other bottom three spots.
The study also found that people who own personalised number plates will likely have a lower average IQ than those that don't, whilst, according to the research at least, white and grey cars are a ‘reliable indicator of intelligence’.
